On Track Studios is a barn like structure that is a working studio for painters. Each of the six studios are private but with a sense of shared space with the other artists in the building. There is a large room for workshops including mostly painting, but they hope to have sculpting, photography, and more in the future. Painting outside, “en plein air” is wonderful at “On Track”. The studio sits on approximately two acres and has two large porches and an amphitheater, which is fun for demonstrations, eating lunch, music and classes.
Four artists will be featured at the OnTrack Open House this weekend. Marjorie Hicks, Mike Sowers, Ed Routon, and Brenda Coldwell.
Marjorie, Mike, Ed, and I have each been on our own artistic journey. It was through this exploration of painting, that our paths have crossed and a friendship was formed. We all look forward to celebrating this exhibit of our work, with family, friends, mentors, and colleagues. –Brenda Coldwell
