TobyMac’s new album, “This is Not a Test”, releases today. Fans have been waiting since 2012 for new music, and Toby Mac’s new album offers fans more of what they’ve been asking for along with a retro sound that will have you putting the album on repeat.
Here are three things you need to know about this album.
1. If you always hoped for and wished there would be a DC Talk reunion- here is your chance to hear Kevin Max, Michael Tait, and Toby one more time in “Love Feels Like.”
2. Toby’s theme for this album is one of loving well. Toby Mac says, “Loving each other well isn’t always easy. Whether taking care of a sick parent (Toby lost his father in the spring of 2015), mending a broken relationship, or just raising a family, real love pushes us out of our comfort zone. It can heal us, transform us, empower us and stretch us to our limits. But it’s in those moments when we feel like we have nothing left that we discover the richest blessings. It’s this picture of love that Toby describes in the line “empty never felt so full” in “Love Feels Like.”
3. In addition to DC Talk, you will hear the vocal stylings of young students from Franklin’s New Hope Academy. Toby has been a long-time supporter of the non-profit school. New Hope Academy brings together socio-economic status and races, and provides scholarships to low-income families for high-quality education.

TobyMac hits the road with tour dates across the country. You can celebrate Christmas with Toby in concert at Bridgestone Arena on December 13th, 2015, at 6 pm along with Colton Dixon and Britt Nicole. The album release will be available on iTunes or Amazon.
