New Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel has named his offensive and defensive coordinators, going for youth on offense and experience on defense.

Matt LaFleur, who had interviewed for the head coaching position that went to Vrabel, has been selected as the offensive coordinator after previously having that position with the Los Angeles Rams.

On defense, Vrabel is bringing Dean Pees, his old defensive coordinator when Vrabel was a player with the New England Patriots. Pees, 68, had been with the Baltimore Ravens for the past eight seasons but had retired following the 2017 campaign.

“I am excited to add both of these guys to our team,” Vrabel said in a statement. “Dean brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to our staff. I have seen first-hand how he teaches and develops from our time together and I wanted to bring that same experience to our players here.
