Are you a middle or high school student making a difference through volunteering? Apply today for national recognition, monetary awards and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. Last year, two local teens – Franklin High School student Zach Wolfson and Woodland Middle School student Syndee Floyd received the special honor and a trip to D.C.
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honors students in grades 5-12 for making meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service.

- By November 6, 2018, students must submit their completed applications, and signed student/parent agreements, to a certifier. (Certifiers can be school principals or the head of a county 4-H organization, Girl Scout council, American Red Cross chapter, YMCA or affiliate of Points of Light’s HandsOn Network.)
- By November 16, 2018, certifiers select and certify top applicants for state-level judging.
- On February 5, 2019, The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards announces state-level winners for 2019.
