Tickets are now on sale for Jazzmania 2016, an event known as the “Jazz Party of the Year” set for Oct. 22 at Liberty Hall in The Factory at Franklin.

Jazzmania 2016 will feature food from Sargent’s Fine Catering, and complimentary wine, beer, and a signature Jazzmania cocktail, courtesy of Lipman Brothers. World-class jazz entertainment will follow the cocktail reception and dinner.
Music performed by an 10-piece all-star ensemble with some of the Jazz Workshop’s finest performing artists and jazz faculty, directed by Denis Solee. Special guest and featured soloist is the award-winning vocalist Donna McElroy, former Nashville resident, now at Boston’s Berklee College of Music.
A former Fisk Jubilee singer, McElroy coordinated and performed at the 150th Anniversary Concert of the Jubilee Singers at Berklee College of Music, conducted by professor Julius Williams and featuring a 40-piece orchestra,along with the renowned Boston Children’s Chorus.
Jazzmania also includes a live and silent auction, with unique and desirable items such as vacation packages, tickets to top events, special dinner packages, in-home concerts, artwork by the city’s top artists, and much more.
Proceeds raised at this celebrated event support the operation of the Nashville Jazz Workshop, which includes classes, performances, and community outreach activities for youth, seniors, and the entire community.
