3 Ways to Support Local Women & Children’s Non-Profits

A Vintage Affair

Local non-profit A Vintage Affair (AVA) will host three wine-themed events in April, all benefiting local women and children’s charities.

From April 18-20th, AVA is hosting three fun filled nights. From a Vintners dinner at Sperry’s to a night of music and dancing at Green’s Grocery in Leiper’s Fork to an event at The Factory in Franklin, there are three ways you can support A Vintage Affair and its beneficiaries.

AVA partners with and has donated nearly two million dollars to women and children’s’ services in Williamson County since its inception in 2001. Through the years, A Vintage Affair has hosted several events to fundraise for organizations including Davis House, My Friend’s House, Williamson Medical, The Refuge Center, and Bridges Domestic Violence Center. When you attend AVA events, sponsor or donate an item for AVA auctions, you are giving back to these five different organizations here in Williamson County. AVA’s belief is that you want to enjoy the evening at a great restaurant, go dancing, have a fun time doing something different. AVA’s motto is to make a difference one bottle at a time.

AVA’s California Vintners- Robledo, Aequitas, Burly- and more will be making their pilgrimage to Tennessee for the three-day A Vintage Affair Wine events. They have been dedicated to Franklin and love this community. Now, for the 18th year, you will get to taste their wines and the best dishes that Williamson County has to offer.

Visit the website, www.avintageaffair.org to order your early bird, discounted tickets. Here’s a look at what you can expect from these three events:

  • Meet the Vintners Party, April 18 at Sperry’s Restaurant in Cool Springs: During this event, guests will have the opportunity to meet prominent vintners from both California and Middle Tennessee as they serve and discuss their finest wines over a five-course meal.
  • AVA Goes Country, April 19th at Green’s Grocery: Hosted as an informal night of great food and dancing… featuring the band Cumberland Run
  • AVA Main Event, April 20 at the Factory at Franklin. This business casual event includes a fantastic selection of food and wine tastings, silent and live auctions.

Join in making a difference in the lives of others, having a great evening, creating fun memories.
