Thompson’s Station Middle Principal Named

Jason Loudon Thompson’s Station Middle

Thompson’s Station Middle School Assistant Principal Jason Loudon will be leading the school next year. Interim Superintendent Jason Golden made the announcement. Loudon will replace Paula Waits who is relocating out of state.

“Jason helped create the vision for Thompson’s Station Middle, and he has a complete understanding of the systems and structures needed for solid academic achievement,” said Golden. “He is a member of the Thompson’s Station community and already has relationships in place. I know he will continue to build on the school’s great start.”

Loudon began his teaching career in 2007 at Hillsboro School where he taught seventh and eighth grade social studies. He continued his teaching career at Fairview High before being named assistant principal at Brentwood Middle in 2015.

“This past year has been such a privilege working with the amazing students, supportive community, and outstanding professionals at TSMS,” said Loudon. “I’m excited, honored, and truly humbled by the opportunity to build upon the strong foundation laid under Mrs. Waits’ leadership. I feel blessed beyond words to continue this journey with such an invested and talented team of staff, parents, and community members.”

Loudon earned a Bachelor’s in History with a concentration in Education from The University of the South and a Master’s in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Technological University.

He will begin his new role July 1, 2019.
