There were quite a few eateries that closed its doors in Williamson County. Here’s our list of places where the last meal was served in 2017.
5. GUAC
GUAC Mexican Grill in Franklin closed in May. GUAC opened its Franklin location in December 2015.
The restaurant, which also has a location in Donelson, closed its doors at 1311 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin.
The current owner, Bernice Bellalo, said she was closing the Williamson County restaurant to concentrate on the Donelson location. Though she did not say it was impossible it might reopen at some point.
“We are sorry to inform everybody who has supported us that we will be closing business at this location. Thank you for all your support. An exciting new business is going to take over this location soon,” the restaurant posted on Facebook.
It turned out to be Smoothie King, which opened in November.
