The Williamson County Fair Opens Tomorrow

Williamson County Fair

Don’t miss a minute of the fun at the Williamson County Fair, held at the Ag Expo Center, 4215 Long Lane just off I-65 Exit 61. New this year to the fair is a Mother’s Care Station to meet the needs of visitors with families. Mercy Community Healthcare has created a Baby Care Station in air-conditioned comfort.

This year, the fair is open from 6p-10p Monday-Thursday. Friday’s time  is also 6-10, Saturday is 10-10 and Sunday Noon to 10. Friday, August 2nd is the unlimited midway ride special for only $25 dollars. The Nissan Bluegrass Stage will light up with the sounds of Union County Line at 6:30 p.m., and the BMX pro trick team will be outside in Fair Village entertaining you as you grab some dinner from the fabulous fair food options.

Also Friday night, is the Birthing Pig exhibit sponsored by the Bunganut Pig in the Children’s Barnyard, and the honey extraction exhibit at 7 p.m. in the horticulture area. Purity dairies will have a live milking exhibit in the Tractor’s Supply Company Livestock Area. As always, weather permitting, there are fireworks at 10 p.m. nightly, so come on out and join the celebration.
