Although many churches needed to cancel services this morning due to icy roads, newly launched local church, The Village United Methodist Church , finds a unique way to host worship services during one of the area’s largest snow storms. “We didn’t want our inability to gather at our typical location to keep us from worshiping together,” said Travis Garner, Lead Pastor of The Village, “At The Village we’re focused on how we can be the church out in the community, and providing a way for people to still worship at home during the snow storm is just an extension of that.”
