The Fair Has Arrived Williamson County

This weekend, it is your mission to check out the Williamson County Fair. The theme is “Rock Around the Fair” and the music and fun just got started. Don’t miss one minute of the action. Tickets are only $6 dollars for Adults–a price for entertainment that cannot be beat in the county.

Friday is the first day of the fair and Unlimited Ride Day, with unlimited rides for only $25. Gates open at 6pm and the fun will be happening all night until midnight. Click here to see a schedule of everything happening this evening.

Saturday is Government Employee Day presented by Cigna. Government employees can get a free ticket from their employer to attend on this day. Sunday is Senior Appreciation Day sponsored by Health Spring and seniors 55 and older get in free all day! Monday through Thursday of next week, tickets are buy one get one free.

Saturday, August 3rd is packed with a poultry and Hereford show in the morning and exhibitions all day. The afternoon entertainment is Party Animals on the Arena Floor. The pedal tractor pull is happening throughout the day as well. Learn how to can foods or attend the cake auction to get an award winning dessert. The Rocky Top Review hits the Nissan Bluegrass Stage at 8 p.m. and Fireworks will be at 10.

Sunday, August 4th starts off with the dairy goats show and the Goo-Goo Cluster baking contest. The Party Animals play again during the day and Senior Bingo starts at 1 p.m. There is a cake decorating demonstration and toddler and teen pageants all afternoon. Ron Rigsby hits the Nissan Bluegrass Stage at 6:30, Tommy Newcomb takes over at 8, and the night closes with fireworks.
