Tennessee Soccer Club & Friends Play Golf For Good Cause

Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) hosted its third annual Golf Tournament last Monday at Brentwood Country Club to benefit TSC’s Financial Aid Fund.

The event was a huge success for the 100-plus golfers and TSC supporters — including the club’s coaches, administrators, college coaches, parents and fans– who traded in their soccer balls for golf balls on this fun-filled day.

TSC’s Financial Aid Fund provides financial assistance to soccer families that need help with participation costs. “The Financial Aid Fund helps our players who are in need of support pay their monthly participation dues,” explains Jimmy Drain, TSC’s Event Coordinator & Tournament Director. “Last year we supported more than 60 players with financial aid, and events like our annual golf tournament help us grow that number each year.”

The golf tournament wasn’t the only competition that day. “We offered closest to the pin, longest drive, two hole-in-one challenges donated by Nelson Mazda, and we had a few other ways to keep the day fun,” adds Drain.

Upcoming: TSC will host the annual Tennessee Invitational at Crockett Park in Brentwood and the Williamson County Outdoor Soccer Complex on Downs Boulevard in Franklin, May 5-7. More than 300 teams are slated to compete in this year’s event. For more information, contact Jimmy Drain, click here.
