For Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) and its families, it’s all about community. Their mission is to promote a love for soccer and recently they did that by donating jerseys, cleats, soccer balls, bags and other gear to Golazo!, a free soccer camp for Latino boys and girls in Franklin.
Golazo! was founded in 2016 with the mission of providing a structured camp for kids who otherwise do not have the means to attend a soccer camp, and whose parents are typically away at work all day. Additionally, it also allows local high school soccer players to serve their community and improve their Spanish. Thanks to its supporters like TSC, Golazo! supplies campers with soccer cleats, socks, shin guards, t-shirts, water, and snacks. The two week experience allows authentic relationships to be formed and permits greater understanding as to the challenges that face this community, which often leads to breaking down the cultural barriers in the community. Many of those in the camp and those volunteering end up forming real friendships.
Along with donating goods, several TSC players volunteered to work the two-week Golazo soccer camp when these items were distributed to young soccer players and their families.
Golazo! is also hosting a 1 week art camp in July. They need donations to fund t-shirts, snacks, water, equipment, and liability insurance. The cost of running the two week camp is $3,000. Visit their Facebook page to make a donation.

Tennessee Soccer Club is the premier youth soccer club located in Brentwood / Franklin and serving the Greater Nashville, TN area with over 1,500 players.
