Tennessee Equine Grand Prix on Saturday, April 26

Grand Prix

The fifth-annual Tennessee Equine Grand Prix jumps off on Saturday, April 26 in Franklin.

Brownland Farm, at 1155 Hillsboro Road, will host the horse-jumping competition, with gates opening at 3 p.m. and competition starting at 4 p.m.
The Grand Prix has exhibited some nationally prestigious horses and riders, with the opportunity of winning $35,000 prize money.

Started in 2009 by Tennessee Equine Hospital and Brownland Farm, the Grand Prix has raised more than $100,000 in proceeds to its partner the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce.

This year the Grand Prix has saddled up with Williamson Medical Center, and the event will benefit Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital being built there for a May 2015 opening.
