A Dickson County Sheriff’s deputy was shot and killed early Wednesday morning.
A police source says the deputy tried to stop a driver with an expired tag around 7 a.m.. A short chase took place and then shots were exchanged. The deputy was killed, reports WKRN.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is offering an reward for information leading to the arrest of Steven Wiggins. The reward stands at $7,500.
