In case we forget, this is still Music City even in the middle of kickoff day for the NFL Draft. Thursday, Taylor Swift surprised fans with an appearance in The Gulch.
In typical Swift fashion, she has been dropping clues on social media about something new on the horizon (many assume it’s an announcement about new music.) The clues led to a new Nashville mural by street artist Kelsey Montague. The colorful butterfly wing mural includes hearts, cats, and rainbows.
Swift posted on Instagram, “So… @kelseymontagueart helped me pull off the best surprise clue reveal today in Nashville!!” Swift said. “Thank you to everyone who showed up, I’ve never been more proud of your FBI level detective skills.”
“Next clue: I’ll be joining the magnificent @robinrobertsgma for a chat tonight on ABC live from Nashville 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕,” she continued.
After taking a photo with the mural, Swift took time out for photos with fans spending at least half an hour taking time to talk with fans.
Another announcement is to take place on Friday, April 26 where fans are convinced it’s all about a new album.
