Taylor Swift is Breaking Records & Releasing Another Song

As Swifties are still reeling from the first of new music from Taylor Swift in three years, Swift releases another single from her album Reputation.

“Ready for It” lyric video was released on Sunday morning becoming #1 on Youtube with over a million views in just a few hours of its posting.

Taylor Swift has even changed her Twitter profile to “The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now,” a reference to the song she released last week called “Look What You Made Me Do.”

Swift has been quiet on the meaning of “Look What You Made Me Do” but this latest release continues a familiar theme of Taylor singing about relationships.

“Knew he was a killer, First time that I saw him, Wonder how many girls he had loved and left haunted.” But the song continues to say, “Younger than my exes but he act like such a man, so I see nothing better, I keep him forever.”

We can say this, Swift is breaking records. Billboard reports, “Look What You Made Me Do” holds the title of most YouTube global streams in a 24-hour period with 43.2 million views. To break it down, that’s 30,000 views per minute. In addition, the single was streamed more than 8 million times on Spotify, a new record for an artist.

Reputation will be released on November 10.
