Many people think that you have to jump right into the deep end when making a lifestyle change. They think they have to go big or go home. For some, this works, but it is not the only way to go.
It is perfectly fine to start small and go from there. Find one thing that you can change in your daily routine to make things either easier or more efficient. If it is a diet change, start by removing one thing bad that you are eating. If it is starting an exercise program, just start with a walk around the block.
The little successes help you see the progress and will encourage you to keep going. Every day or every week, add one more thing you can do to make a change. Before you know it, everything will have a different outlook and you will stay motivated to keep going.
