According to Randy Campbell, Chairman of the Brentwood Planning Commission, the proposal for the Synergy Park Hotel “looks good.” Campbell talked with the Williamson Source about the progress of the site and was excited about the plans and possibilities.
The 126 room Hilton Garden Inn is part of Phase 1, which includes a number of retail spaces in addition to upgrades to existing property. The renovation of the Synergy Business Park would improve the quality of life for those already using the property explained Campbell’ The retail and restaurant space will provide those already working there with outlets for lunch and shopping that will save time and possibly reduce commutes in the area.”
“I really like their plan for the space leading up to the mansion,” said Campbell. The renderings show a beautiful view of the hotel as a centerpiece with the hotel built around it and clear visibility of the historic Mooreland Mansion on the drive into the complex. “It’s bitter sweet actually; there will be a loss of some really big trees that are quite beautiful. Upgrades to storm water systems in the area will be an upside to the work though,” continued Campbell
