SWIMMING AND DIVING:
The TISCA High School Swimming and Diving Championship wrapped up on Saturday evening at the Centennial Sportsplex. Here are local results:
In the Men’s 100 meter Butterfly, Matthew Beach from Centennial finished in 1st. Beach also finished 3rd in the 200 meter Freestyle.
Tatum Wade, CPA sophomore, took 1st place in women’s 500 meter Freestyle and 1st in 200 meter Freestyle.
Baily Page, a Ravenwood senior, placed 3rd in women’s 50 meter Freestyle and tied for fourth in the Women’s 100 meter Freestyle finals.
Brentwood High School junior Paige Colaberdino finished 7th in the Women’s 100 meter Backstroke.
Fellow Bruin, freshman Jackson DeFore, placed 3rd in Men’s 100 meter Backstroke; MBA’s Hudson Dobbs 8th.
Emma Blackwood, BHS junior, finished 8th in the Women’s 100 yard Breaststroke.
In the Women’s 200 Freestyle Relay Ravenwood placed 7th and Brentwood High 8th.
In Women’s 400 Freestyle Relay BHS took 2nd and Ravenwood 5th.
In Men’s 200 Freestlye Relay the MBA team took 7th.
In Men’s 1 meter Diving finals Charlie Clifton, Ensworth senior, took 1st; John Barringer of MBA took 12th.
WRESTLING:
Father Ryan finished 1st in the State Wrestling Championship, with 233 points; MBA 8th with 147; Ravenwood 12th with 132; and Franklin 14th with 108.5 points.
