If antiques and vintage items are your passion then you don’t want to miss the Swanky Plank Vintage Marketplace being held at Rippavilla in Spring Hill on July 9-11, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission for Friday and Saturday is $7 per day.
Swanky Plank is Rippavilla’s biggest fundraiser with sixty vendor booths spread over the front lawn of Rippavilla offering antiques, vintage, handmade and repurposed wares. This is the 3rd year the event has been held at Rippavilla located at 5700 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174.
Get a jump on the crowds and shop the best merchandise by purchasing your Sneak Peek Party Pass for Thursday, July 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Party Pass, $25.00 per person, offers complimentary wine while you shop Thursday evening, return admission for Friday and Saturday and a tour of the historic mansion. “This the first time we’ve shown at Swanky Plank. We’ve been there before but only as attendees. We greatly admired the items displayed for sale and thought some of them were very unique and wanted to become a part of the event. We’re mostly looking to meet new people, possibly establish new business connections and maybe develop new avenues of distribution,” said Bill Manganaro from Firefly Essentials.
So what sort of stuff can I expect to see at the Swanky Plank Marketplace? Antiques and vintage items are the main draw with primitives, 19th century furniture, rare advertising items, delicate table linens and quilts, cast iron, glassware and even vintage clothing! Artisans will offer handcrafted pottery and jewelry designers will be on site showcasing their unique works-of-art sure to become collector’s items.

There will be some great entertainment lined up including Music City Strings, Spring Hill Orchestra, Spring Hill Community Choir, Dixie Crossings and more.
Take a break from shopping; enjoy lunch from one of the on-site food vendors including TN Subs & More, Moe Better BBQ, Pappy’s Porch Catering, Leatrelle’s Italian Ice, Bradley’s Curbside Creamery, and 2 Dudes Donuts.
Tours of the historic mansion will also be available. Our market offers a convenient loading and unloading area when you purchase large items.
Proceeds from the event support the preservation of the antebellum home and its educational programming. Rippavilla, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) historic site and does not receive Federal or State monies for operating expenses.
