Sushi Thai is undergoing a “soft opening” while the kinks get figured out.
For two years, Charun Chungaew, the owner, had been working to open Sushi Thai. Chungaew, who used to own Basil in Cool Springs before selling, had trouble finding the skilled and highly trained chefs needed in a sushi restaurant, he said. Chungaew began the process of opening in 2015.
