Support Williamson County Rec’s Holiday Food Drive

Help support Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department as they are working to provide hunger relief this holiday season by sponsoring a food drive. It benefits Feed America First, a hunger relief agency that provides food to the county.

Residents are being asked to donate non-perishable food at four area recreation centers: the Franklin Recreation Complex, the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, the Fairview Recreation Complex and the Longview Recreation Center in Spring Hill.

Non-perishable food such as spaghetti, pasta sauce, canned chicken, boxed dinners, mac and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit, applesauce, cereal and oatmeal, mixed vegetables, green beans and soups are all welcomed.

Donations will be accepted now through Dec. 12. Collected items will be distributed in holiday food baskets to residents living in hunger.
