On Tuesday, January 26th, at 5:00 p.m. Mellow Mushroom will feature Founding Fathers Brewing Company as their Tuesday night Tap Takeover. Founding Fathers was started when companies like Coors, Budweiser, Miller were bought by foreign conglomerates.
Founding Father Brewing Company was founded by Phil Knutsen. The CEO works with marketing veteran Les Mouser, President of the company. In 2011 Phil gave up his 22 year career with the vision of starting a company that would make a difference. Founding Fathers was born, a company that produces high quality American made products while giving back 50% of their profits to the military families that have helped make our great Nation. In November of 2011, Founding Fathers launched their first product, Founding Fathers lager and light beers. With placements in over 70% of the Minneapolis metro area and placement in Florida’s largest grocery chain Publix, the first two test markets were successful. Founding Fathers is now distributed in 9 states with the goal of National distribution.
Recently Founding Fathers hit the Tennessee market. The beers featured at the Tap Takeover are the Founding Fathers Light and Amber. Similarities to Coors, Bud and other major breweries are comparable and along the same priceline. The difference is they are American owned and brewed. Not available at the Tap Takeover , is the American Pale available in bottles at local stores.
