Support Gigi’s Playhouse at Culver’s in Franklin today – Tuesday, August 9, from 5pm-8pm. Enjoy dinner, dessert and have fun while spreading awareness and support for the EPIC (Empowerment, Participation, Independence, & Community Involvement) adults. Tonight, the EPIC adults will be on hand to greet customers and run food. A percentage of all sales will give back to the EPIC program. The EPIC Adult Program meets weekly to provide opportunities for socialization and community involvement, while creating a fun and memorable experience for its participants. Participants work on vocational, communication, and social skills to boost confidence and encourage independence.
Gigi’s Playhouse is a unique achievement center for individuals with Down Syndrome, their families and the community. GiGi’s Playhouse offers more than 30 therapeutic and educational programs that advance literacy, math skills, motor skills and more. Each of these services is provided free of charge as well.
