Support CASA & Celebrate the Season with Studio Tenn

A Studio Tenn Christmas is coming to town. Bringing good tidings to families everywhere this Christmas season, A Studio Tenn Christmas returns to Jamison Theater in the Factory at Franklin for a one-night holiday extravaganza on December 13 at 7 p.m.

Serving as Studio Tenn Theatre Company’s holiday spectacular, A Studio Tenn Christmas is a concert sure to knock your stockings off with the best of Nashville talent. Billed as “a modern take on the vintage holiday special,” A Studio Tenn Christmas will be serving up slices of holiday nostalgia from every era, whether it’s the caroling classics or the glory days of a big band.

A cast of all-star performers offers up a warm blend of merriment and nostalgia through music and banter with this year’s Christmas production. Featured singers include: Melodie Madden Adams, Libby Black, Bradley Gale, Piper Jones, Laura Matula, Patrick Thomas, Studio Tenn’s Artistic Director Matt Logan and more.

Logan said the concert is returning by popular demand and allows audiences to get their fill of cheer just in time for the holidays.

“The combination of talent, presentation and artistry that takes the stage for this concert is unlike any other,” stated Logan. “The breadth of the Christmas canon allows us to be original with our own twist on the songs, yet still deliver on our audience’s expectations for familiarity and nostalgia.”

Following a simplified format from last year’s A Studio Tenn Christmas and the subtlety of the 2015 Holiday Concert, Studio Tenn continues the tradition of dazzling holiday concerts and features family favorites such as “O Holy Night,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “White Christmas.”

Performed with a combination of classic melodies and modern arrangements, A Studio Tenn Christmas takes place on the magical set of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and gives audiences a fresh take on the vintage tunes of yesteryear.

The one-night holiday party isn’t the only thing Studio Tenn has to offer this Christmas. In the spirit of the season, Studio Tenn encourages patrons who attend The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe during December 1-10 and/or A Studio Tenn Christmas December 13 to bring new coats for kids, sizes 6 months to 12 youth, to donate to Williamson County’s chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA).

The coats will then be distributed to local children in need and a final tally of donated coats will be announced following the performance of A Studio Tenn Christmas.
