Sunday, July 29th is the next installment of the Sunset Concert Series at Carnton Plantation. The Battle of Franklin Trust manages the Carter House and Carnton Plantation and wants you to be a part of the next two editions of their three-part Sunset Concert Series.
Tickets are available in advance from either historic location or from BancorpSouth in Franklin, 914 Murfreesboro Road.

Advanced tickets are $10 for adults and $5 dollars for children. Prices go up $2 at the gate for adults. This Sunday the band is South Street Players a six-piece cover band of seasoned musicians performing hits from the 70’s. August 26th will be the final of three events and features Greez Monkeez, an 80’s cover band bringing back hits from Bon Jovi to Poison.
Concerts are from 6-8 P.M. with gates opening at 4:30, parking is always free. This family friendly event suggests you bring lounge chairs or blankets to enjoy the show in comfort. Food and drink is available onsite but you are welcome to bring you own. Begley’s Dogs, Bistro Truck, Laurel’s Pop Shop and Sno-Ball Heaven will be onsite to serve and wine, beer, mint juleps and Chuy’s margaritas will be sold to patrons with valid photo ids. Alcohol for this event has been provided by Lipman Brothers and Red Dog Wine and Spirits.
Please remember to “Keep Carnton Green” and use the trash bags provided to you at the entrance donated by Keep Williamson Beautiful. The Trust asks that you take your trash with you when you go.
