Tai Carter ran for 187 yards, as Summit smashed Franklin County, 48-13, on Friday.

Carter, Summit’s star running back, had touchdown runs of 5, 7, and 66 yards for the Spartans (6-1).

Coach Brian Coleman’s team has won six straight since an opening-night loss to Spring Hill.

It’s the second shutout for the Spartans this season.

Summit travels to Shelbyville Central next week.
