Juice Bar Hosts Summer Solstice Supper Club

Celebrate the first day of summer on June 21 with fresh food and wine pairings at Period Table: Summer Solstice Supper Club.

The event will take place at Juice Bar, located at 128 Pewitt Drive in Brentwood and will go from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The dinner is hosted by Nutrisha, a Nashville-based company that teaches nutrition with an emphasis on connecting the community and nourishing the body with locally sourced foods. The menu, created by Nutrisha’s founder and Nashville native, Trish Marzella Mathisen, is assembled using only locally sourced meats, cheeses and produce.

The Summer Solstice event will be the first in a series of Periodic Table Supper Clubs that will occur with every season change.

“We are so excited to launch our Periodic Table series of seasonal events with our first Summer Solstice Supper Club,” Marzella Mathisen said. “Nutrisha was founded as a platform to practically connect nutrition science to culinary enjoyment in hopes of changing the nutrition conversation through local food advocacy. These events are a medium to celebrate the change of the season, while focusing on local produce and artisan creations for a unique dinning experience for our guests.”

Mathisen founded Nutrisha on four core values: locally sourced food matters, be a community supported agriculture subscriber, be your own chef and contribute through social enterprise.

Anyone interested in attending Period Table: Summer Solstice Supper Club may register and reserve a seat here. Ticket prices through June 20th are $45 for one, $80 for two and $165 for four.
