‘Stuffed’ Shelter Offers $10 Thanksgiving Adoption Special

kitten adoptions from Williamson County Animal Center

The Williamson County Animal Center (WCAC) in Franklin is stuffed, and it’s not with turkeys! The shelter is filled with 111 adoptable animals: 38 dogs, 66 cats, 5 rabbits and 2 tiny mice! And, just like your waistline after Thanksgiving dinner, they need to free up some space!

All adoptions (excluding puppies) will be $10 during the ‘We are stuffed’ event, on Wednesday, November 21 and Saturday, November 24. Come by the shelter and let them introduce you to the perfect pet for your family. If you are looking for a dog, their adoption counselors can help you find a couch companion, a running buddy or a loyal lap dog. For cat lovers, they have super chill older cats, playful kittens and a few divas.

Williamson County Animal Center is open Wednesday, November 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The shelter will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23. Adoptable animals can be viewed at www.adoptwcac.org or follow us on Facebook. The shelter is located at 106 Claude Yates Dr., next to Franklin High School.
