Studio Tenn’s One Night Only Gala was a sell out at The Factory in Franklin on Friday night. Throughout the evening there were standing ovations, dancing and lots of cheers and clapping. Now going into its sixth season, patrons and theatre goers in Williamson County and beyond are taking notice of our home-grown professional theatre company. Created by Matt Logan and Jake Speck, a dream to have live professional theatre right here in Williamson County has not gone unnoticed. Over 75,000 people have been reached from past productions, they have been voted one of the top 5 performing arts organization in Nashville and they are in process of making a historic move as they partner with TPAC on their Broadway series opener “Evita,” something that has never been done with any other theatre company before now.

At the Gala, the opening musical number was “Mysterious Ways” from “The Color Purple” performed by Melinda Doolittle, Laura Matula, Libby Black and Piper Jones.

Throughout the evening, there were performances by Matt Logan, Jake Speck, Diana Degarmo, Patrick Thomas, Matt Giraud, Erin Parker, Eden Espinosa, and Anthony Crivello.

Don’t delay in buying your tickets for their upcoming production of “Evita” featuring Eden Espinosa who is well known for her role as Elphaba in “Wicked” on Broadway but here is your chance to see her on stage in Nashville. Show runs from September 9th – 18th at TPAC’s Jackson Hall, purchase your tickets online here.

Here are a few pictures from the evening and a sampling of Eden Espinosa singing at the One Night Only Gala.
