Student in Custody for Independence Bomb Threat

An Independence High School student is in custody today for writing a bomb threat on a bathroom wall at his school.

The bomb threat was found on April 14, 2015. Independence High School was evacuated and students were taken to the Ag Center.

Williamson County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Lt. David Brewer received an anonymous tip about the teenager. He was taken into custody and transported to Williamson County Juvenile Services after he confessed to the bomb threat.
