Start Thanksgiving Day with the Turkey Trot

The Turkey Trot, a Thanksgiving morning race benefiting GraceWorks Ministries, is back again this year.

On November 28, runners and walkers will gather at the CoolSprings Galleria for the Turkey Trot, which includes a 10K, 5K and Kids 1K Fun Run (for ages 9 and younger.) Both the 10K and 5K are USAT&F certified.

EVENT DETAILS:
WHEN: November 28
WHERE: CoolSprings Galleria, 1800 Galleria Boulevard
SCHEDULE: Trotters start racing at 7:45 am for the 10K followed by the 5K at 8 am and fun run at 9:15 am.

Online registration is now open at www.graceworksministries.net. Registration Nov. 1 to Nov. 26 is $45 for 10K, $40 for 5K and $13 for the Kids Run. Registration Nov. 27 and 28 is $50 for 10K, $45 for 5K and $13 for the Kids Run.

Male and female awards will be given to top three overall, top three Masters for ages 40 and older, and in top three age 9 and younger, ages 10-14 and five-year increments from 15 to 80 and older. No pets will be allowed on the course. Jogging strollers are welcome.

GraceWorks has been the beneficiary of the event since 2011. Begun in 1999, it was previously called The Habitrot and benefited the Williamson County Habitat for Humanity.
