Riverdale out-scored Spring Hill 28-0 in the second half on its way to a 49-24 rout of the Raiders on Friday.
In a battle between two of the area’s best running backs—Riverdale’s Savion Davis and Spring Hill’s Dontae Smith—Davis’s team came out ahead.
Davis had touchdown runs of 33 and 59 that helped put the Seminoles ahead.
Smith, a Georgia Tech commit, had a pair of touchdowns that included a 69-yard run.
Spring Hill hosts Tullahoma next week, while Riverdale travels across town to Oakland.
