Spring Hill Student Arrested for Threatening Tweet

From News 2 WKRN – An 18-year-old student was arrested Monday for sending a threatening tweet aimed at Summit High School.

Benjamin Mobley, of Spring Hill, is charged with false report of a fire/bomb/emergency, which is a Class C felony.

Authorities said several students reported the tweet to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Brant Pewitt.

Mobley didn’t report to classes but came to the school to turn himself in after learning he was facing charges.

He has been released from jail on $2,500 bond and is due in court April 30.
