Longview Elementary
A total of 26 fourth and fifth grade Longview students participated in the Mini Mu Math Competition Saturday December 5. Brentwood High School’s Math Honor Society sponsored the event. Longview students were led by their very own Gifted Education Teacher, Michelle Johnston who was accompanied by adult supervisor and parent Susan Perry. Ten practice sessions were held after school for an hour before the competition. All our students showed commitment and dedication throughout. Longview students Matthew Metlitsky and Jack McCarty placed in the top 20 overall. Superb job everyone!

Summit High
The Wrestling season is off to a great start! On December 5, the wrestling team won the Mt. Juliet Duals defeating Lebanon, Page, Riverdale and Rossview. The team’s first home match of the season was on December 8 vand they defeated Hillsboro 66-12 and Hendersonville 63-21.
