Spring Hill Restaurant Offers Free Thanksgiving Meal to Those in Need

Grecian Pizzeria in Spring Hill will be open on Thanksgiving Day from noon until 3 p. Owner, Frank Georgalos wants to offer a free meal to the community this year.

In the past, Georgalos said the restaurant has given back to the community by supporting in many ways but this year he wanted to do something different and offer a hot meal to those who are alone, unable to cook, less fortunate, single parents, really anyone who is looking for a traditional meal and to gather with others.

At first, they were taking reservations for assigned times but as the holiday approaches, Georgalos says he has lots of food and wants to encourage anyone whether you have a reservation or not to please come to the restaurant for turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes and anything else you would expect at a Thanksgiving table.

When you arrive on Thanksgiving, Georgalos says to expect the bakery dining room to be set up as a buffet area where you will be served your meal. Guests will be welcomed to sit anywhere in the restaurant.

Grecian Pizzeria has partnered with The Well Outreach in Spring Hill which distributes over 100 meals to those in need and will have a mobile pantry on December 1 at Spring Hill High School starting at 9 a.
