Spring Hill Pickin’ in the Park 2018 Registration Open

Spring Hill Pickin’ in the Park is entering its 6th season and looking for local acts. Pickin’ in The Park is a monthly outdoor, family-friendly event featuring local musicians and songwriters in and around the Spring Hill community. The music is mostly acoustic, singer-songwriter type offerings, with a smattering of rock, bluegrass, country, and blues. All shows are located at Harvey Park in Spring Hill from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Dates for Pickin’ in the Park this year are May 26, June 23, July 28, August 25, and September 15.

The event takes place in the Red Oak Pavilion at Harvey Park at 4001 Miles Johnson Pkwy Spring Hill, TN 37174.

Registration is now open for local musicians. Preferred acts are solo singer-songwriters or duos. If you are planning a larger group, please discuss your audio needs with the event organizers before signing up. Drum kits are not allowed.

Acts should prepare four family-friendly songs. Be able to perform your accompaniment. This is not karaoke, but organizers will consider allowing backing tracks if you wrote the song.

Amplification system (with two microphones, stands and cables) is provided. Speakers include two main speakers and one stage monitor. You must bring your own instrument cables.

This is a family-friendly event, open to everywhere. A playground is located near the event, as well as bathrooms and food trucks are on site.
