On 2/2/2018 at approximately 1:40 am an officer with the Spring Hill Police Department stopped a Mercedes SUV for traffic law violations in the Candlewood subdivision. When the officer approached the driver’s side door the driver, later identified as Leonardo Ewin (42 years old), fled in the vehicle through the neighborhood. Another SHPD officer joined the pursuit and Ewin evaded him by driving through a yard. Ewin led officers on a pursuit on Duplex Rd. and then Buckner Ln. where officers terminated the pursuit. Ewin was last seen turning onto Thompson Station Road East.
Our attempts to locate Ewin at his Spring Hill address have failed. Ewin may also be staying in Nashville. Ewin has active warrants for the traffic law violation and also evading arrest.
