Spring Hill Mayor to Give State of City Address Thursday

On Thursday Mayor Rick Graham and City Administrator Victor Lay will give the annual State of the City address at a city Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

The event is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 at Northfield Workforce Development & Conference Ctr., 5000 Northfield Lane, Spring Hill, TN 37174.

Northfield is directly across from the Historic Rippavilla Plantation on Hwy. 31.

Graham and Lay have promised a high-energy presentation under the continuing theme, “Spring Hill Rising… The pieces are coming together.” There will be information about upcoming road and transportation projects, new businesses, neighborhood growth, quality of life issues, and the many plans the municipal government has to keep up with Spring Hill’s rapid growth.

At last year’s State of the City, leaders focused on continued growth and efforts to expand infrastructural capacity.

“What is Spring Hill Rising?” asked Graham at the conclusion of the address last year. “Spring Hill Rising is 52 new infrastructure projects, 600 new active adult homes, 12 ‘best of’ rankings from state and federal, 2600 new jobs. Folks, this is Spring Hill Rising. This is our city.”

Registration is full for the event, but Spring Hill Home Page will report on all the information from the mayor and city administrator.
