Spring Hill High School lost its third straight game and fell to 1-4 Friday night in a 38-14 loss at Marshall County.

Spring Hill outrushed Marshall County, tallying 234 rushing yards to the Tigers’ 118. But it was a different story in the passing game, with Spring Hill quarterback Tylin Oden completing seven of 21 passes for 49 yards.

The Spartans fell behind 7-0 early before Oden scored a 1-yard run in the first quarter to make it 7-6. In the second and third quarters, the Tigers scored 31 unanswered points.

Spring Hill did not score again until the fourth quarter, when Noah Williams ran in an 18-yard touchdown to make it 38-12. The 2-point conversion made it a 38-14 game.

Williams led Sprin Hill in rushing yards with 83, while Oden had 73 rushing yards of his own. Quarterback Drew Gorman seldom saw action in the game, completing his only pass for 1 yard and rushing once for 7 yards.

Spring Hill will look to recover from the three-game skid against Lawrence County. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. for the road game.
