A Spring Hill man is behind bars following his arrest for a Franklin home burglary. On Sept 27th, Franklin Police began investigating the break-in of a home in the 700 block of West Meade Boulevard. Entry into the home was made, in the middle of the day, through a window while no one was home. A variety of electronics and prescription medication valued at more than $1,000 was stolen. Keafer Copeland, 19, of Spring Hill, was developed as a suspect. He was arrested outside of a home on Franklin’s Banwell Circle, yesterday. Copeland was found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest.

Charged with Aggravated Burglary, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Copeland is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $50,000 bond. He is due in court October 13. Much of the property Copeland stole during Tuesday’s burglary was recovered at the time of his arrest. Detectives are working to determine if Copeland may be connected to other crimes in the area.
