What do you think Spring Hill is most known for to outsiders? What does this community mean to you? What makes it special?

These are some of the questions the City of Spring Hill wants your feedback on as part of the exciting place branding initiative being carried out throughout much of this year. The latest step in the process invites anyone – not only residents – familiar with Spring Hill to complete the Spring Hill Community Survey and let us know your candid, anonymous opinions about the city in which you live, work, or simply pass through each day.

In addition to the survey, we also are hosting two Community Place Branding Forums, led by our consulting team, Chandlerthinks:

– April 17: 7:30 a.m. at Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast will be available for $6.
– April 25: 6:30 p.m. at the UAW Hall. Light refreshments will be provided.

The survey and the forums are ideal opportunities for the public to learn more about the place branding project, provide vital input, and be a part of the process.

What is Spring Hill’s story? Is it something different today than it was 20 years ago? What are the unique things that make it Spring Hill? These are some of the critical questions that the place branding process seeks to answer. Some would say Spring Hill, long known as a suburban commuter town, has an identity crisis. But once we know who we are as a city, and how we tell our story to outside businesses and residents looking to potentially locate in Spring Hill, we will better position ourselves to pursue prosperous economic development efforts in a more targeted fashion. This process also is expected to result in a new logo and related marketing visuals, which will not only help better promote our city, but will aesthetically improve things like signage, wayfinding, and create a greater level of visual consistency in all that we do as a city.
