Class A-AA Semifinals:
Page continued to make history. After ousting a one loss Jackson Northside team for their first playoff win, Christian Academy of Knoxville stood in the way.
Page would strike first blood, rocketing in a goal early to take the 1-0 lead. CAK would respond later in the first with a goal of their own to even things up.
Late in the second half Page would once again find the back of the net. This goal would punch their ticket to State. The Patriots will take on Greenville Friday, May 26 at 1:30pm at MTSU.
Nick Burns would score both of Page’s goals with assists from Miguel Villanueva. GK Wilson West had 10 saves for the Patriots.
CPA Lions ended their season with a 2-1 loss to Greenville.
Div. II-AA Semis
Tough day for the Brentwood Academy Eagles as they took on rival McCallie. BA opened with a 2-0 lead, but couldn’t hold back a rally by McCallie. BA was eliminated from play with the 3-2 loss.
