Southern Women’s Show Returns

The Southern Women’s Show returns with a new look and a startling list of stars and attractions for a smart and stylish 2015. Southern Women’s Show  will be held at the Music City Center beginning Thursday, April 30th running through Sunday, May 2nd.  Tickets are available at the door for $12.

In its 29th year, the show has rolled out a whimsical new logo that hints at festive entertainment and fun. Guests will enjoy fashion, cooking, hundreds of exhibits, celebrities and shopping galore. The show returns to Nashville’s spanking new Music City Center, boasting a fabulous facility with plentiful parking for show-goers eager to see how Nashville’s Southern Women’s Show manages to top itself year after year!

“There really is more to see, do, buy and try this year than ever before,” says Stacy Abernethy, Executive Show Manager. “With the amazing space at the Music City Center, there is more room for expanded exhibits, fashion shows and our popular cooking stage. The café and lounge areas allow our guests to enjoy a bite to eat, and rest up for even more shopping, shows and fun.”

Each day offers prizes and surprises, including theme days on Pink Friday, Girls Night Out and Mother Daughter Day. In addition to cooking, shopping and celebrity appearances, learn about exotic travel destinations, home improvement and décor, business opportunities and more. This year’s celebrity roster will satisfy every guilty pleasure. If you sigh over weddings and formal fêtes, Randy Fenoli, star of TLC’s hit shows” Say Yes to the Dress,” Big Bliss, Randy Knows Best, and Randy to the Rescue will be on hand to greet you with his signature “Hello, Beautiful.” For those who dream of being “that girl” with the enviable hair and beauty secrets, visionary entrepreneur and beauty expert, Michael O’Rourke will inspire your inner goddess with his trend-setting tips and creative products and giving  complementary haircuts during the show.  If you harbor vampire fantasies, well, this year’s show has someone special just for you. Meet one of Hollywood’s hottest actors, Peter Facinelli. Perhaps best-known as “Dr. Carlisle Cullen” in the blockbuster Twilight films, Peter stars in the new NBC series, Odyssey, premiering in April, and his Nashville appearance is sure to make hearts flutter.

Dana Elliott, culinary specialist with the Taste of Home Cooking School will be on hand to inspire with exciting recipe demonstrations, and the ever-popular Local 140 Firefighter Fashion Show will heat up the stage while raising money for Camp Phoenix, Box 55, and Fighters that Care (FTC).
