Southern Vintage Market Will Open Second Location in Spring

southern-vintage-marketBrentwood’s Southern Vintage Market will be expanding in 2017. Opening four years ago in Brentwood, the local store will open a second location in the Capitol View development located in the Gulch in Nashville.

Located at the intersection of 11th and Charlotte, Capitol View recently welcomed its first tenant- HCA. Capitol View will be home to HCA subsidiaries of Sarah Cannon, Healthtrust, and Parallon and Lifeway Christian Resources headquarters, which is currently under construction. Other plans for the 32-acre property include 300, 000 square feet of retail space, a grocery store, and 1,000 residential units, along with two hotels.

Southern Vintage Market is the first confirmed retail space at Capitol View.  While no other retailers have been confirmed, there are plans for several restaurants in the works.  Unlike other retail spaces in the Gulch, Capitol View will offer free unlimited parking to shoppers.

“We are so excited to be opening a 2nd location this spring, four years after we opened Southern Vintage Market, in Brentwood,” says Marla Skipper, owner of Southern Vintage Market. “Our newest store Southern Vintage Market boutique will have more of an urban feel.  We will carry some of the same brands at our new store but  we will also offer some new vendors that we can’t wait to share with everyone.”

“The spring lines at Southern Vintage Market  are some of the best we have seen,” Skipper added.

Construction has begun on the new location and Southern Vintage Market plans to open its second location by spring of 2017.
