Herrold will oversee the continued residential build out of Westhaven, the company’s wildly popular Franklin, TN. community development. Westhaven has frequently appeared on lists and rankings, having been named one of the top master-planned communities in the U.S.

Westhaven has cemented itself as one of the most in-demand planned communities in the south. In 2017, Southern Land closed 130 new Westhaven homes. So far in 2018 it has closed 53. In total, 1,714 homes have been completed, with final build out expected to be approximately 3,000 residences. For this growth, Herrold will oversee development and construction as well as management of budget.
Herrold joins SLC from BACAR Constructors, Inc. where he managed a diverse range of projects across Tennessee and Texas. He garnered similar experience at CIP Construction, Inc., Construction Enterprises, Inc., and Main Street Homes. He earned a degree in Construction Management from Middle Tennessee State University and also served as an Aviation Ordinance Petty Officer in the United States Navy.
