Smoothie King opened its newest location this week.
The location at 1311 Murfreesboro Road, where GUAC Mexican restaurant used to be, is now open.
The store had been getting ready to open since mid-summer.
Paul McCulloch, who owns 15 Smoothie King franchises, most of them in the Middle Tennessee area, is actually in the midst of opening two other stores in the area.
The Franklin location will be first, followed by one in Lebanon and one in Nashville on Jefferson Street.
He owns the Smoothie Kings currently in Williamson County: at the CoolSprings Galleria, at 600 Frazier Drive, 9040 Carothers Parkway and 330 Franklin Road.
“I think it is a great location,” McColloch said. “I am excited to get it open.”
Hours of operation are: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
