Skanska USA has signed a contract to perform the additions to the Williamson Medical Center (WMC) to the tune of $51 million. The addition will total 11,000 square meters of additional space and renovation of 3,500 square meters of existing facility.
The announcement for the upgrade came in October of last year and marks a significant commitment to the health of our community. Skanska is a leader in Green LEED construction and has recently taken a stand against the U.S. Chamber of Commerce due to its support of an initiative to halt progress in sustainable building. Skanska has constructed hundreds of green projects around the globe, including substantial environmentally responsible infrastructure in the United States.
