An Alabama man died Wednesday on I-65 in Spring Hill.
Timmy Sanford, 56, crashed at mile 49 southbound, according to Spring Hill Police.
Officers were dispatched at 9:09 p.m. and saw Sanford’s Ford Ranger in the treeline.
Witnesses said they saw his car strike a guardrail, attempt to come back to the travel lane and then leave the roadway.
Sanford, who was wearing his seat belt, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
